We are an affiliate installer of Chargemaster PLC and only install Chargemaster chargepoints. These are British designed and British made in Luton.
The standard model we supply and fit free of charge under the OLEV Domestic Chargepoint Grant Scheme is the model pictured above, the H3S2 Type 2 Socket.
The unit supplied is as shown above. Finished in IP65 rated white it is a neat and tidy fully waterproof unit that sits on an outside wall or in a garage.
The Type 2 socket unit means that our free chargepoints are universally compatible with all electric vehicles. You simply need to connedt the cable supplied with the vehicle (or one which you can purchase from us) to the socket unit and charge.
The black panel on the right of the unit contains 3 LED lights that indicate standby, charging in progress and any error.
The units are lockable and supplied with 2 keys. The lock means that nobody can charge their vehicle without you unlocking the unit - in other words, nobody can pull up outside your house and start charging without your agreement!
All units are supplied and fitted free of charge.
All units are supplied with a 3-year full maintainance warranty.
The units contain a small GPRS transmitter which will log any use of the chargepoint remotely for a period of 1-year from installation.
