What are the qualifying criteria to get a free chargepoint?
1. You must be a homeowner or private tennant.
2. You must have off-street parking (either driveway and/or garage).
3. Your electrical installation must be suitable and safe for installation.
4. You must agree to leave the Chargepoint in place for 3-years.
Is it really free, where is the catch?
We answer this question many times each day. The supply, installation and 3-year warranty is provided completely free of charge under the OLEV Domestic Chargepoint Grant Scheme. No money ever changes hands between the customer and us, or the customer and OLEV.
How do you get paid?
We invoice the government directly for the work undertaken under the grant scheme and are paid directly. Should thre ever be an issue with an installation or payment, we never pass any charges onto the customer.
How long does it take to install?
No two instalaltion are the same, but as a rough guide installation takes anywhere from 45 to 90-minutes.
Are your installers Part P certified?
Yes. All of installers are qualified professionals holding all necessary accredition. The contractor we use is NIEEC approved, and all individual installers hodl Part P certification.
Is there any standing charge, maintainance charge or other hidden charge?
No. This is genuinely one of the rare occasions in life where you really do get something for nothing!
